Even back then, Kristoff intimated the company was overextended and running into financial difficulty but Norris wanted to believe what he wanted to believe. The Cannon Group was done before the decade was out, but not before they killed the “Superman” franchise and the star status of Sylvester Stallone. A good documentary on Golan and Globus, “Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films,” is currently streaming on Netflix.
